Brielle Davis is one of Australia’s most promising divas with two brilliant club hits to her credit. However, there is a lot more to this stunning talent than her recent output. Brielle was something of a child prodigy, releasing a highly acclaimed country album when she was only 12 years old. The album is a highly enjoyable mix of old standards like “Moon River” and new material such as the pop friendly “The Girl’s In Love”. Brielle remains the youngest artist to be nominated for an Australian Golden Guitar Award.

Serial Thriller

After such an audacious start, Brielle surprisingly disappeared from the music scene for the next decade until re-appearing a couple of years ago at an Australian Idol audition. In one of the series most confronting displays of judging incompetence, Brielle was sent packing in the semi-finals. Brielle’s misguided choice of a gospel song didn’t help her cause. Despite her early exit, Brielle re-discovered her passion for music and returned to the music scene with a sexy new image and a very hot single in 2006. "Serial Thriller" was co-written by Chrissy Amphlett of The Divinyls and boasted excellent remixes by the likes of MrTimothy, Wayne G and Jimmy Z. The song became a huge club hit and made the top 50 of the singles chart.

Take It Off

The follow up to "Serial Thriller" was almost a year in the making but it was worth the wait. "Take It Off" is possibly the best song of 2007. The standard radio edit is funky pop tune with a distinct urban flavour, while the Andy Caldwell remix turns the song into a magnificent dance anthem that would turn Dannii green with envy. The Mobin Master club mixes are outstanding and helped to establish Brielle as the new queen of the dance floor.

Australia's Secret Weapon

Brielle recently made headlines by flying to the troubled Solomon Islands to perform for the Australian troops. I’m sure the soldiers were mesmerised by Brielle’s extraordinary talent. In addition to serving her nation, Brielle has been feverishly working to finish her second album. The album is scheduled for release later this year and if the first few singles are any indication, it promises to be nothing short of brilliant.

In the meantime, Brielle's has released a fantastic acoustic EP to keep fans satisfied. "Crossing The Line" can be purchased exclusively from Brielle's website
