Apollonia fronted Apollonia 6, an 80's R&B girl group and went on to star in the movie Purple Rain with Prince and release a solo CD in 1989.

Bernadette Cooper founded 80's all-girl funk/R&B group Klymaxx and released a solo CD in 1990.

Vanity fronted Vanity 6 who scored a classic club hit with the single Nasty Girl in 1982. Vanity left the group in 1984 and went on to release two solo albums and appear in numerous movies including The Last Dragon and Action Jackson!
